OJ EPO 2019, A18 - Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 20 February 2019 concerning the filing of patent applications and other documents by facsimile

The President of the European Patent Office, having regard to Rule 2(1) EPC and Rule 92.4 PCT, has decided as follows:

Article 1

Filing of European patent applications

(1) European patent applications may be filed by facsimile with the filing offices of the European Patent Office in Munich, The Hague and Berlin.

OJ EPO 2019, A20 - Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 19 February 2019 amending the Arrangements for deposit accounts (ADA)

The President of the European Patent Office, having regard to Articles 5(2) and 7(2) of the Rules relating to Fees, HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

Deposit accounts are made available solely for paying fees, not for paying expenses and prices. Point 1 ADA has therefore been amended as follows:

"1. General provisions

OJ EPO 2019, A22 - List of days in 2019 on which EPO filing offices and national patent authorities of the EPC contracting states are closed – corrigendum

The German Patent and Trademark Office has informed us that this year, in addition to the list of holidays published in OJ EPO 2019, A7, its "Information and Service Centre" in Berlin will also be closed on the following day:

Friday, 8 March 2019.
