GL A III 4.2 Examination of the request for grant form

The Receiving Section examines the request to ensure that it contains the information listed in Rule 41(2). The request form provides for the entry of that information. The petition for the grant (Rule 41(2)(a)) is an integral part of the form. The applicant must be allowed to correct deficiencies in the request to the extent indicated in A‑III, 16.

GL A III 3.2.1 Physical requirements of applications filed by reference to a previously filed application

If the application is filed by reference to a previously filed application according to Rule 40(1)(c) (see A‑II, 4.1.3.1), where no translation is required, the certified copy of the previously filed application required under Rule 40(3) must satisfy the physical requirements.
