OJ EPO 2018, A27 - Notice from the European Patent Office dated 16 March 2018 concerning the closing of the mailroom at its headquarters in Munich

The mailroom at the headquarters of the European Patent Office in Munich (Isar building, Bob-van-Benthem-Platz 1) will be closed as of 1 April 2018.

Counter services for personal deliveries in Zollstrasse, Munich remain available during the published hours below.

Mon-Thurs: 08.00 – 16.45 hrs
Fri: 08.00 – 15.30 hrs

Outside office hours, at all the filing offices, documents may be handed to the porter. At the headquarters, this service is also available during office hours.

Automated mailboxes, which can be used at any time, are located in Munich (PschorrHöfe building only, Zollstrasse) and Berlin (next to the entrance at Gitschiner Strasse 103).

European patent applications can always be filed online using either the EPO's Online Filing software, the EPO case management system (CMS) or via the EPO web-form filing service.

Alternatively, applications for European patents can also be filed by fax (excluding authorisations and priority documents), by post or by hand at the EPO's branch in The Hague and its Berlin sub-office.
