5.099. What special requirements apply to a nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence listing part of the description? Where the international application contains disclosure of a nucleotide and/or amino acid sequence, the description must contain a listing of the sequence which complies with the standard provided for in Annex C of the Administrative Instructions (Standard for the Presentation of Nucleotide and Amino Acid Sequence Listings in International Patent Applications Under the PCT) and which is presented as a separate part of the description in accordance with that standard. Where the international application contains the disclosure of a sequence listing, the "sequence listing part" of the description should be headed "Sequence Listing." Where applicable, the main part of the description should, under the heading "Sequence Listing Free Text," repeat the free text contained in the sequence listing.
